Every new Motiv Ring order comes with a personal Motiv Sizing Set which makes it easy to get the right fit. A good fit is essential to getting good data. With seven sizes to choose from and the ability to try sizes out at home, the Motiv Sizing Set makes it easy to find a size that fits best and so you can get the most accurate data possible. And giving Motiv as a gift is easy too, since the Motiv Sizing Set includes a redemption code that the gift recipient can use to select their own choice in size and color.

Your Motiv Ring Sizing Set can be shared with friends and family to help them find their size. Plus they get a $20 discount off their purchase without having to wait for another sizing set to come in the mail. A single sizing set can be shared any number of times but the $20 discount is applied only once.  This offer cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.

The Motiv Ring Sizing Set is made from paper, and the sizing rings are recyclable plastic. After you are finished sharing your sizing set with friends and family, please recycle both the sizing rings and packaging.

When choosing a ring size, finger selection is important. You may already have a finger in mind, but we have found the index, middle and ring fingers usually work best. Try a variety of sizes on different fingers. You want to make sure it fits comfortably over your knuckles and hugs your finger snugly, maintaining contact all around the inner part of the ring.

Motiv Sizes and Ring Orientation

You may notice that Motiv Ring sizes are a little different than traditional ring sizes. There's a flat surface inside the Ring – this is where the heart rate sensor lives. The sensor should rest on the inside of your finger for best performance.

Stuck Ring

If a ring from your Motiv Ring Sizing Set or your Motiv Ring gets stuck on your finger, we recommend using a bit of hand soap and water to remove the ring. Gently twist the ring and pull gently to remove from your finger.

Exchanging sizes

You have 45 days to exchange your Motiv Ring for another ring size. Just reach out to our support team and we’ll get you taken care of.

You want to make sure it fits over your knuckles and hugs your finger snugly, maintaining contact between ring and finger. It’s important to keep in mind that things like activity, diet and weather do affect the size of our fingers.

Men’s sizes vs. Women’s sizes

Motiv Rings come in seven different sizes from 6 to 12 and are different than standard ring sizes. Sizes are the same for both men and women.

Temperature

It’s best to measure your ring size when your body temperature isn’t too warm or cold. A cold finger tends to shrink, and a hot finger tends to expand and may give you an inaccurate ring size.

When you receive your Motiv Sizing Set, try the sizing rings on for comfort and fit. We recommend you wear the ring for 24 hours to see what fits best during your normal day. From sleeping to working out, find the size that works for you. Make sure it’s not too tight and that it is comfortable to wear.
